Evocative of traditional tailoring, the Diplomat A Plus Rhomb Guilloche in Lapis Black is a development of the iconic Diplomat A2 Excellence. Its stunning chequered aesthetic is created through laser etching lines into the metal body, producing striking visual and textural detail. Matte jet black squares fill the spaces between the etched polished chrome lines resulting in a soft, grip-able surface wonderfully comfortable to hold.
The cap is adorned with an elegant hourglass clip, complete with a delicate teardrop die cut from its end. It is hinged and spring loaded for effortless but secure attachment to clothing and notebooks. A short rotation of 1/3 enables simple removal of the cap from the barrel, an example of Diplomat's impeccable attention to engineering. The cap end is inlayed with the famous Diplomat flower logo in black, whilst a polished chrome band delicately engraved with Diplomat since 1922 and Made in Germany surrounds its end.
