Visconti VS Mirage Fountain Pen Night Blue
Emulative of the ethereal skies of the Milky Way, the Visconti Mirage fountain pen in Night Blue is a glorious mix of deep blues, soft greys and swirls of crisp white. Manually blended acrylic resin creates a beautiful marbled aesthetic with ever-changing colour effects as different points catch the light. A step away from traditional Visconti designs, the Mirage consists of 3 rounded grooves which taper towards the pen end.
A stepped resin section ensures a comfortable grip whilst elegant lines, tapered ends and a smooth surface creates a perfectly balanced pen, delightful to use. Surrounding the cap is a decorative palladium-plated cap band, stamped with the collection name and a wave motif. The cap end is embellished with the iconic Visconti bridge clip, a tribute to the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. This clip extends through the cap and down the opposite side enabling more leverage when clipping to surfaces.
A unique design detail of the Mirage is the smaller Visconti logo is on the barrel end rather than cap top. Like all Visconti pens this can be removed with a Visconti magnet and exchanged for your initials, Zodiac sign or a precious stone. A simple twisting mechanism effortlessly removes the barrel to reveal the convertor inside. Contrastingly the cap is magnetised for fluid, simple attachment and removal. The pen is finished with an A66 stainless steel nib, ornately pressed with the Visconti logo.
